This course is comprised of the EST3 Series Introduction eLearning and the EST3 Series Instructor-Led course. Completion of the eLearning course with a passing grade is required to enroll in the Instructor-Led course.

Description:
This eLearning course emphasizes the hardware and installation of the EST3 Series fire alarm system and components including Signature Series devices. Participants MUST complete this course prior to attending the EST3 Series Certification Course.

EST3 Series Instructor-Led

Description:

This 5-day Instructor-Led course teaches participants to plan, program, download, and debug an EST3 and EST3X network system using the EST3 System Definition Utility (3-SDU).

Laptop requirements:
During class, participants receive a training limited version of the EST3 System Definition Utility (3-SDU). Participants need to bring a laptop computer supporting one of the following:

• Windows 7 (32-bit)
• Windows 7 (64-bit)
• Windows 8.1 (32-bit)
• Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
• Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet software) with edit and save functionality

Laptops must have at least one available USB port. Participants MUST be able to install and run the application as an administrator.
